Pro Thusi is an international contemporary artist from Johannesburg, South Africa. His artwork demonstrates his mastery and versatility using a variety of mediums. His career progressed from sketch artist, to acrylic paint and now he focuses on recycled materials.
He is a master of “Recycle Art” where he uses tin cans, discarded single- use plastic bags and a variety of other solid waste materials along with a glass blow torch, heat gun and soldering iron to create one-of-a-kind, environmentally friendly, masterpieces that many collectors have added to their personal galleries. His unique, life-like portraits captivate, truly turning 'rubbish' into a priceless treasure.

He has also donated his works to the MAD Leadership Foundation raising several thousand dollars for charity auctions. When not working on his own creations, Pro spends time sharing his wisdom with the students at Doug Whitehead Special School as a volunteer art teacher.
