Inanda Page

Inanda was born in Boksburg in 1971. In 1981 she moved to Pretoria, Gauteng where she still lives and works as an artist.

After completing matric at Hoërskool Waterkloof in 1988, she studied Theatre Crafts at the Pretoria Technicon, now TUT, and specialised in Decor under artist and lecturer in fine and applied arts, Jan van der Merwe.

She worked as a commercial artist and decor painter and paint technique specialist on projects such as Port Louis Casino (Mauritius), Poorboys restaurant franchise (Gauteng and George), Mimmos franchise (Gauteng), Caesar’s Palace Casino (Johannesburg) and Monte Casino (Johannesburg). Her work also includes private residences for mural and paint technique art.

Around 2010 she packed up her scaffolding and wall paints and switched over to stretched canvas. Inanda is a self-taught artist in mainly oil paints. She participated in group exhibitions and shows and four solo exhibitions at Art lovers in Waterkloof, Pretoria and Tina Skukan gallery in Faerie Glen Pretoria.

Her work has also found international acclaim on Saatchi art,  RedBubble Singulart and  ArtSleuth online galleries that ships her artworks worldwide. She is currently building her portfolio and distribution base as an atmospheric and tonalist sea-, sky- and landscape painter.
